Such a fun place! Very intimate environment and high quality food. Blows every other Italian American joint I’ve been to out of the water! Already looking forward to another trip back. I’m not a drinker but they have amazing Italian sodas here which were so refreshing! Also the pesto is to die for! I’ve never liked pesto but this place completely changed my mind. Must visit!

If you're looking for a true taste of Italy, Ciro's is the place. From the moment you walk in, the warm, rustic atmosphere welcomes you like a classic Italian home. But it's the food that will stay with you long after your visit, and every dish is bursting with flavor. What makes this place special is not just the food, but the passion behind it. The owner, Ciro, takes the time to explain the origins of the ingredients and the inspiration behind each dish. You can tell everything is made with care and love. A gem for anyone who appreciates real Italian cuisine. Bellissimo!

What a treat! One minute you think you're in Illinois, the next minute you are in Italy! This is not the Italian restaurant you've been to recently. Everything is made from scratch, pasta made in-house, and the chef/owner whose name is on the top of the menu, well he is also Italian. The menu is based on Southern Italian dishes and holds authenticity in the highest value. The menu is small for now but they are committed to growing the menu when they can find the correct ingredients and maintain the signature quality. The food can be taken out easily because they started as a heat at home restaurant. This is because it's tiny! If you call ahead you can reserve one of the seats at the chef counter, and enjoy a wonderful experience. Mike was correct in recommending the Pasta al forno, It was delicious as was the pillowy and creamy gnocchi. The restaurant is BYOB so be sure to stop by the wine shop next door, they are also excellent. Remember I said everything is made in house? Well the desserts are too, get ready for the best tiramisu you have ever had. I promise. (Unless you had it at your grandmother's house in Italy)! Enjoy, this will be a treat! Godere!

Whether or not you close your eyes, you’re instantly transported to Italy with your first bite. The pesto is rich and thick, the energy is lively and familial, the tiramisu is airy and decadent. You absolutely must dine at Ciro!

If you’ve ever been to Italy, you’ll appreciate Ciro. It reminds of the many pop-in pop-out food bars in Rome. Ciro’s spot is clean and his kitchen has nothing to hide because they make elite food. Sat at the bar and had gnocchi. Ciro personally served us and gave us bread and samples of meatballs and cheese. He is fantastic. Great person. Authentic food. If you have one chance at Italian in Oak Park, go here.

We came here for lunch today as a family of 4 with 2 kids ( age 4 and 9) We found this place on google maps when searching for nearby restaurants at the airBnB we are staying at. We ordered two of the same pasta dishes to share and a focaccia with mozzarella. Ciro the owner/ chef/server was very friendly . The pasta was delicious and even the kids enjoyed it! We all loved the focaccia and my 9 year old asked for more! unfortunately due to a busy weekend at the restaurant some of the items we wanted to try were not available ( we came on a Monday ). We are here for a week and hopefully we can make the time to come back and try the rest of the menu!
